In our joining safari program, we have a package for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 travellers, sharing some aspects of the safari. We bring together clients from our partner companies to share transportation costs which is normally charged per seat. Accommodation and meals can also be merged in some Self catering facilities. Joining safari itinerary:
3 days, 2 Nights Masai Mara safari.

Starts everyday 08;00Hrs.
Note that joining safaris are designed for flexibility and will require a level of patience to bring everyone on board. Recommended 18 years and above, accompanied children must be from age 12+.

Day1; Morning pick up from your hotel or residence from 8:00am. You are driven through the Great Rift Valley and the masai countryside with brief stops for scenery viewing. Arrive Narok town around mid-day for your lunch break. Later proceed on through the loitta plains to arrive mesa mara camp later in the afternoon. After check in you will be taken on your first game drive in this sprawling reserve which is the most popular tourist destination in Kenya. The wildlife reserve is situated in the Great Rift Valley and is mainly an open grassland savannah. You have great chances to spot, buffalo, lion, elephant, leopard, and rhino amongst a variety of plains game. Before nightfall, return to your Camp for the dinner and overnight.(FB)

Day 2: Full day to explore the park further, your guide will have the picnic Lunch boxes reserved to eat later under the shade of an acacia tree overlooking the golden plains of the Mara. Look out for the big five, and also for the birds. Over 450 identified bird species have been recorded in this park. You will also visit the famous Mara river, where a concentration of hippos and crocodiles is a sight to behold. Return back to the camp after a successful full day of game viewing. This evening is also a good time to arrange with your guide to visit one of the Masai villages for a cultural experience. Dinner and overnight at the camp.(FB)

Day 3: Breakfast at the camp, a mid- morning1 hour nature walk with a resident Masai moran is ideal before your return journey back to Nairobi. On your way back, your guide can stop you for souvenir shopping. Your Lunch is at Narok town. Later proceed to Nairobi. The tour ends with a drop-off back to your city hotel or residence approximately 4-5pm after a great safari experience.(HB)

1 Night 2 Days Amboseli Safari.
Elephants-of-Amboseli-Kilimanjaro
Amboseli is beautiful and is considered as Kenya’s biosphere reserve. Amboseli in Masai means ‘place of water’. It lies at the foot Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895m high) and Africa‘s highest mountain. It is in this park where you are guaranteed to see massive herds of elephants as they forage and bathe. You can also get the best sighting of Mt. Kilimanjaro with its snow-capped peak, usually at sunrise and sunset.

Safari Program: Itinerary.

DAY 1: 07:00am. You are picked from your Nairobi hotel or residence for a trip to Amboseli passing through the eastern plains of Kamba land and on to Emali, continue south west passing the remote countryside of Kajiado to arrive Amboseli at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro around noon.With a game drive en route, proceed to arrive at Kibo safari camp in time for lunch.

4:00 pm. Proceed for an afternoon game drive,you will be visiting several swamps which are fed by underground streams from Mt. Kilimanjaro and where a big concentration of game is found. Your photos will capture Mt. kilimanjaro in the background.

Return to camp around 6:30pm for dinner and overnight, enjoy entertainment by local Masai morans or watch the stars by a campfire.

DAY 2: 6:30am; After early morning coffee, proceed on a game drive, this is perfect to capture the mountain views which come out clearly in the mornings. Track large herds of elephants, giraffes, hyenas and a lot more plains game before returning to camp for proper breakfast.

After breakfast, load up for your journey back to Nairobi. Arrange with your guide to visit one of the Masai manyatta to have an authentic cultural feel and experience of this local community.

Proceed to Nairobi with your own lunch arrangements on the way. You arrive Nairobi later in the evening. You will be dropped at your hotel or residence.

End of the tour.

Native Habitat
Banded mongooses are found in Africa, south of the Sahara, except for the Congo and southwestern Africa. They live in open habitat in grasslands, brush lands, woodlands and rocky country. They have a large range and may travel more than 5 miles a day to forage.

They generally stay in one particular den for a few days at a time, a week at most, and will frequently return to favorite sites. While they are able to dig their own burrows, these mongooses will usually use a natural crevice or an existing hole created by another animal.
They have developed a vocabulary of calls to communicate with each other, as well as a**l and cheek glands to scent-mark their territory. They may also scent-mark each other after group separation or a mild scare
Banded mongooses are primarily insectivorous but eat a variety of foods, including beetles, crabs, earthworms, fallen fruit, grasshoppers, birds, eggs, rodents, scorpions, slugs, snails, snakes and termites. To break open hard food objects, such as eggs or snails, they throw the object vertically or backward, between the hind legs and into a stone or other hard object.

They are very possessive of food, and when they find food they eat it right away; there is no food sharing.
