Lake Naivasha, located about 70 km northwest of Nairobi, is a freshwater lake nestled in the Great Rift Valley. It's renowned for its diverse birdlife, with over 300 species recorded, including ibises, Goliath herons, and pelicans. The surrounding areas are home to various wildlife such as giraffes, antelopes, hippos, wildebeests, and zebras.

During our recent tour, we explored the serene Crescent Island, where visitors can walk among free-roaming animals like zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes, all in a predator-free environment. We also ventured into the Crater Lake Game Sanctuary, a private reserve centered around a picturesque crater lake, offering sightings of diverse bird species and mammals.
