This morning, a group of beautiful colobus monkeys appeared in the trees above Cobb's Carriage (one of our cottages). Their striking black and white coats shimmered in the sunlight, creating a stunning contrast against the leafy green backdrop. With their long, graceful tails swaying gently in the breeze, they moved swiftly through the branches, so at ease in their natural habitat.
The peaceful serenity of the moment was broken only by the young’s occasional calls, adding a touch of wild beauty to the tranquil morning atmosphere. It was a magical moment, again reminding us of the natural wonders all through our farm.

we’re proud to have the Kenana knitters which is a unique women’s empowerment knitting project that blends creativity, tradition, and community spirit. This initiative invites kembu guests during working hours.
Through kembu, school groups can participate in a hands-on experience where they can learn the art of knitting from talented local women who are passionate about their craft.

The project not only showcases the skill and artistry of these women but also empowers them by providing a platform to share their talents, earn income, and gain financial independence. Through knitting, they preserve age-old traditions while creating beautiful, handmade pieces that reflect the heart and soul of our rural community.
