Following the launch of campaign, Nakuru County officials from the Directorate of Tourism and Culture alongside NaxCity Kenya Executive Director made a courtesy visit to Njoro subcounty to embark on the first unpacking in the wards.

Led by the Njoro ward admin Mr. Billy Kiprop, the team toured several sites in Njoro and Lare Wards where they discovered unique Tourism gems that remain hidden, namely; Kilo Falls, Kainainé Gardens (bouncing grounds), Njoro River Caves and the famous Lord Egerton Castle.

During their trip, the team visited Egerton University and met with the marketing and communication department to align on the mission of packaging Njoro attraction sites; which include the Botanical Gardens, Llama Park & Dairy Plant in the institution.

This recce preceedes the marketing efforts towards documenting the sites, set to commence on 13th December 2024 under the leadership of Tourism CECM Hon. Stephen Kuria.
