The following are the Types of Transmission Systems:

1. Manual: It is a transmission system where gear changes require the driver to manually select the gears by operating a gear stick and clutch.

2. Automatic: It is a multi-speed transmission used in motor vehicles that does not require any input from the driver to change forward gears under normal driving conditions.

3. CVT: A CVT, or continuously variable transmission, is an automatic transmission that uses pulleys and a belt or chain to continuously change gear ratios, instead of fixed gears.

4. IMT: Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) is a clutchless transmission that combines the convenience of an automatic transmission with the control of a manual transmission.

5. DCT: A dual-clutch transmission (DCT) is a type of transmission that combines the performance of a manual transmission with the ease of use of an automatic transmission.

6. AMT: The automated manual transmission is a type of transmission for motor vehicles. It is essentially a conventional manual transmission equipped with automatic actuation to operate the clutch and/or shift gears.

Here are few answers of questions we are mostly asked by our friends and clients when purchasing a motor vehicle..

If one follows due process u can never lose your money.

1. Identify what you want to buy.
2. If satisfied negotiate price, its willing buyer willing seller.
3. Look at the documents,
4. Do an official search,
5. Compare the documents with official search,
6. Demand the seller to open his account(tims) account to verify that the car is in his/ her account
7. Once you have verified all that if its in order,
8. Write a sale agreement and have your witness ready.
9. Do not pay cash, if you have to first ask the seller his/her bank, and demand to deposit cash into the sellers account, do not deposit if the search details name and deposit acc names are different.
10. If the names of the search and those in the lgbk are the same but the seller demands cash, request the seller you together see the operations manager who indeed will verify the client has an account. If he does so, then proceed to pay and demand a transfer of ownership immedietly.
That way you wont lose your money. Never be in a hurry to buy a car. Remember it takes time to make money but you buy a car only one day. Dont lose your cash to conmen again!!
