I recently witnessed a nature drama that was both heartbreaking and breathtaking. I captured a scene where an elephant mother stood off 11 lions for almost 2 days after loosing her newborn calf. Despite her fierce and relentless defense, the exhausted elephant mother eventually gave up, leaving us with a mix of emotions—from admiration for her bravery to sadness for her loss. It reminded me of the tough survival challenges in the wild, where resilience and determination shine through despite harsh conditions.
