The main beaches along the coastline are Tiwi, Diani, Galu, Kinondo, Msambweni and Shimoni.

The islands these sides are Funzi, Chale and Wasini.

There are smaller islands that appear and disappear in the ocean according to the magnitude of tides,e.g. Robinson Island in Diani.

The most mind-blowing features of South Coast are the Kongo River area in Diani with the oldest and very culturally rich historic mosque, and the river that snakes into the ocean in a visible stream.

And, the dolphins at Wasini Island, clear waters of Funzi, blue waters of Kisite and the caves at Shimoni.
