The Ark is nestled in the heart of tropical rainforest in Aberdares National Park. This unique game lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and a salt lick that attracts elephants, leopards, bushbucks, and many more. Resembling and named after Noah's Ark, the Ark comprises three decks with 59 ensuite cabins and 2 non-smoking lounges. The en-suite cabins are fitted with buzzers to announce the arrival of big animals at the waterhole. Facilities include a dining room, a bar, numerous balconies and lounges providing superb game viewing, ground level bunker for photographic opportunities, and salient game drives.

This is Samburu National Reserve located in the Northern part of Kenya and borders Ewaso Nyiro river to the South which separates it from the Buffalo Springs national Reserve.It's well known for hosting rare species of animals like the Gravy Zebra,Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe,Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx .Apart form the Special five animals in this park,it's also well known for hosting a large number of Elephants and large predators like Lion,Leopard,Cheetah infact its the best location to spot the Leopard.Bordering the park are a number of conservancies and ranches such as Kalama conservancy,West gate conservancy and Namunyak wildlife conservancy.You will also enjoy the company of Samburu community and get to know much about their culture and beliefs.Samburu should always be in your bucket list.
