Chef Mickey!! Worthy of the reck?? (LONG post)

Chef Mickey can easily ring up a bill of $200 for a small family of 4. Spending that much on one meal can seem nearly improbable to most families, especially ones on a budget.

But as everyone knows, it’s a fan favorite and is constantly booked out months in advance so we’re here to decide is it worth of a reck or did you just waste $200 ??

First off, what’s included?? For $45 for each adult and $29 for each child, you get an extensive breakfast, all you can eat, family style meal!! This includes
☆ Waffles AND Pancakes

☆ Cheesy hash browns

☆ Sweet rolls

☆ Sweet fried fritters

☆ Eggs, Sausage, Bacon (some of the best I’ve ever had)

☆ Tofu scramble

And MORE!! That’s a lot of food! And it’s unlimited servings. Just keep asking your server to bring out more plates of food!

The added costs pile on when you start ordering drinks that are NOT included in the flat rate! Along with tax and tip.

They have an assortment of yummy beverages from nonalcoholic shakes and juices to refreshing cocktails!

For a family of four, two kids, two adults, who order two cocktails, and two drinks, the total will be well over $200 including tax and tip!

But let’s not forget the most important aspect of the restaurant…THE CHARACTERS!! The fab five make multiple appearances, every 10 minutes. You’ll know they’re coming when you hear upbeat music and the Fab 5 talking!! They walk to each table separately and you are able to get as many pictures as needed. A cast member walks with them and will take pictures of the whole family so no one is left out!! They play with the kids and also play with adults!! It’ll definitely be the place of many core memories for everyone!!

BUT the real question? Is this worth the price? My answer is YES 100%! If you can swing it for your trip, I would 100% recommend this dining experience!! The pretty penny is tough to move past BUT it is definitely worth it. This is ALLL the food you can eat and the characters come to your table many times!! The food is delicious and will keep you full until dinner if you eat enough!! I 100% recommended Chef Mickey’s for breakfast on your next trip. It is easily a favorite of mine and a classic. The core memories created here will last a lifetime and when this trip is a distant memory, you won’t remember the price but you will remember the joy on your children’s face when they see Mickey come to your table. You will always have the pictures of your family smiling ear to ear with the Fab 5!!

This is a restaurant I recommend doing at least once in your lifetime!!

Happy Birthday to you.…Happy Birthday to you…Happy Birthday dear EPCOT…Happy birthday to you!!

Wow, EPCOT turns 40 today and in honor of their birthday, I’ve posted some of the best flicks from over the years from my visits to EPCOT.

There’s so much to say about the epic and magical place but to me it’s just home! Home to my favorite Disney snack, home to my favorite characters, home to my favorite nighttime show (until hae comes back), home to the most magical festivals, home to the World Showcase which is my favorite thing to do on Disney property. And home to some of the best memories I’ve had at Disney.

I love this place with everything in me and I can’t wait to go back in a couple of months!!

So happy birthday EPCOT, you don’t look a day over 20 🥳

Continued prayers for all of Florida and the guests currently trapped in their hotel rooms.

These are pictures from Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the damage after Hurricane Ian. Thankfully the damage isn’t too great and the Contemporary can get back to its magical glistening self in no time!!

The closure of Disney World has caused disappointment felt throughout the nation as Hurricane Ian barrels towards Orlando.

If I have any Orlando residents following me, I’m sending love, prayers, and extra magic your way!!

I would also like to let all my disappointed guests know that your refunds for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party ARE COMING!! They will take 7-10 days to reach your account but you will get your money back!!

I would also like to make note that Disney World and cast members understand your frustration but PLEASE do not take your frustrations out on cast members over the phone. Please remember they live in Florida too. They have families and houses they need to worry about as well as your vacation! There are very limited cast members on the phone line because so many are preoccupied with their families and watching over them.

Cast members are people just like you and I. These cast members have left their homes and families with a hurricane barreling towards them to help YOU. They cannot control the wait times, they cannot control Disney’s policies, and they definitely cannot control the weather. Please be mindful and respectful when you call with questions. Wait times will be long and that’s is no one’s fault!

Once again, to my Orlando followers, stay safe and protected. I’m sending lots of magic and good thoughts.

No need to fear! After some thorough research I’m here to assure you Disney not only takes care of their guest with magic but also animals!!

Depending on the animal, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will take animals into their shelters to keep them safe. Their shelters are comfortable and hurricane proof. Certain animals will ride out the storm there.

Other animals who will not fair well in small spaces and unfamiliar environments will stay in their habitats with hurricane protection surrounding them. Safari staff will stay on site during the hurricane and keep an eye on our wild friends during the hurricane.

I love, love, love, LOVE, animals and even 1,000 miles away, I feel comforted that my favorite animal like elephants and lions are safe and under a watchful magical eye of Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s wildlife experts!

Disney may be closed today and tomorrow but the magic stays in affect. If you’re looking to plan that magical vacation AFTER Hurricane Ian. Message me and I’ll send you a FREE quote.

As almost everyone knows, Disney has been slowly but surely returning back to normalcy but some iconic favorites are still missing UNTIL now!

To start off, our favorite pals are returning from the 100 Acre Woods and heading to the Crystal Palace once again! Along with breakfast returning for the first time ever since 2020 😮 Crystal Palace is located just off Main Street in Magic Kingdom. Beginning September 20th 2022, our pals from the Hundred Acre Woods will be rejoining guests for lunch and dinner and the Crystal Palace. And beginning October 25th 2022, breakfast will resume at the Crystal Palace WITH all the characters we know and love from the Hundred Acre Forest. I can HARDLY contain my excitement, I’ve missed Eeyore and Piglet soooo much!!

Coming up next will be Stitch!! Yes that’s right! Stitch will be returning to ‘Ohana breakfast! AHHH! I’m already marking my calendar to book it! Stitch is my alll time favorite Disney character and I cannot wait to give him a big squeeze! Stitch will be returning to ‘Ohana for breakfast on September 27th 2022! ‘Ohana is located just a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom in Disney Polynesian Resort!

Coming in next, (a personal favorite for both me and my mom) is Cape May Cafè!! Cape May will be welcoming back Minnie, Mickey, and more characters on October 4th 2022! Cape May Cafè is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and is a can’t miss for my family and hopefully yours!! Take a step into this all you can eat buffet, themed like a New England beach side restaurant. You CANT miss the salted caramel beach buns and my personal favorite, the crepes 🤤!

Love me some Belle!!

I SCORED at this meet and greet by getting lost and wondering down the tiny side road next to the castle and guess who’s standing next to the wishing well with NO line!!

I was ecstatic because she had my favorite outfit of hers and was incredibly nice!

One thing I learned about Disneyland is that characters aren’t as widely advertised as Disney World. The app doesn’t always list all of them so sometimes, it’s a complete surprise when you see them!

The trip is coming to an end but I still have so much to share so stay tuned!

Disneyland Day 2:

Disney California Adventure is by far my favorite between the two parks and I may like it better than SOME of the WDW parks (shhh don’t tell Magic Kingdom🤫)

It brings classic Disney movies to life, along with some of the newer owned franchises like Marvel. I was fangirling HARD in Avengers campus I will admit and scored some awesome merch!

The rides, the food, the architecture, and more immersed me in all things Disney and I had the time of my life.

The Best Food: Mac and Cheese Cone (Coze Cone Motel 3, Located in Carsland)

The Best Ride: Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout. Located in Avengers Campus. (NOT for the faint of heart)
The Best Non Trill Ride: Toy Story Midway Mania. Between the Incredicoaster and ferris wheel.

Hi! First Dinner in Disneyland was soooo yummy! Black Tap Anaheim is located in Downtown, adjacent to Tortilla Joes and Jazz Kitchen. Here they serve scrumptious burgers and INSANE shakes!! Pictured here is:

Oh to be home right now with my favorite people and favorite characters. A hug from Goofy is exactly what I need right now but in 10 days, I’ll get all the squeezes I need from him and more!

A big reason why I became a travel agent that specializes in Disney is because just because I’m not there, planning Disney related travel immerses me in Disney right from my own desk. One thing I don’t think people talk about enough is how incredibly majestic and magical The Tree Of Life is. People marvel at the castle and epcot ball but I rarely see anyone post about how incredible The Tree of Life is. The carvings, designs, hidden mickeys, intricate details that can only be seen up close, there’s no shortage of magic within this tree. With the kind of creativity and skills these imagineers had to have possessed to able to create this stunning piece of work boggles my mind still! I made this post just to rant about this truly underrated piece of Disney magic that amazes me every time I look at it!

A classic fan favorite is BACK at Walt Disney World!!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party is BACK starting August 12th and going all the way to October 31st! This party takes place from 7pm to 12am on a select 37 nights from the dates listed above.

Disney reports this party will be closer to “normal” than we’ve ever seen since the pandemic began.

Notorious villains will return and roam the streets of Magic Kingdom. The frightening fun includes…

➭ The Headless Horseman will ride his ghostly steed down Main Street, U.S.A as a prelude to “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,” which features floats filled with Disney Characters dressed in their Halloween best, Disney villains and the Haunted Mansion graveyard diggers.

➭ New this year, guests will also receive a reusable trick-or-treat bag featuring a keepsake 50th Anniversary celebration and Halloween design.

➭ Join the Sanderson Sisters during the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show at Cinderella Castle as they call upon their frightening colleagues to conjure the ultimate Hocus Pocus Party Potion.

The most popular argument I hear against using a travel agent, is that you can do the research yourself and plan it that way but that will not be NEARLY as helpful as you think!!

“Why Marena” you ask. Well because each blog, facebook post, tiktok vlog, and MORE telling you how to do this, what to skip, what to do, where to eat, etc is all coming from THEIR pov! It’s coming from their personal interests, ideas, and taste and being translated into a one size fits all but vacations are ANYTHING but one size fits all.

But then people wonder, if I don’t use the internet, how do I know what to do and what will work for my family and BOOM, that’s where I come in!!

I get to know you, your partner, and all the members of your party and create a vlog worthy vacation that is perfect for your family and your family only. Trying to decide if what this blog wrote would work for you or trying to pick apart a tiktok to relate it to your family is sooo time consuming. Who has time for that?? And THATS why you need a travel agent that specializes in Disney!

You will get vacation created with knowledge that bloggers and influencers have but get the personalization that no site on the internet can give you!

That is my long response on why you need a travel agent and after that, there’s not much more to debate about!

I fell in love with all things Disney the second I watched my first Disney movie. It was Cinderella of course. Cinderella was so elegant and was kind to everyone, I wanted to be just like her. At 7 years old I stepped on to Main Street at Magic Kingdom for the first time and I was hooked immediately! The Disney magic filled me as I went through my vacation and by the end of it, I was being dragged to the car kicking and screaming because I didn’t want to leave.

Fast Forward 13 years later and not too much has changed. I have traveled to all 50 states and every US territory. I’ve stayed everywhere from hostiles to Airbnbs. To hotels and all inclusive resorts. I have been to all Disney properties a combination of 22 times. Trip number 23 and 24 are coming up shortly!

I started planning all my family Disney trips by age 14. By age 18, I had fully planned 3 friend’s Disney trips. A good friend of mine told me a few months ago “you’re way too good at this to not be getting paid” and so I became a Travel Agent that specializes in Disney vacations and I couldn’t be happier!!
