If you haven’t experienced a runDisney weekend at Walt Disney World, what are you waiting for?

Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend (Jan 4-8, 2023) gives you the opportunity to run ALL of the miles you can handle through the parks and surrounding areas. Get castle pictures like no one else can, and run literally around the world (showcase, that is)! And if you think starting your race adventure WITH FIREWORKS AT THE STARTING LINE is awesome, getting an amazing medal at the end is pretty rad, too!

Not ready to crush 26.2 miles? Distances from 5k all the way to 48.6 combined miles in the D***y Challenge will be available for race weekend.

Race registration (for in person and virtual) opens to the general public April 19! Check out the themes at RunDisney.com. Who is feeling the 90s retro vibe? LOVE IT!

It’s time to embrace the magic again! ✨ Character greetings begin as early as April 18 in Disney Parks, Resorts, and Disney Cruise Line.

For the first time in forever we will get those sweet squishy hugs from our favorite Characters. That’s right! Very soon, you will once again be able to hug Mickey Mouse, get an autograph from Mulan, and share a laugh with Goofy. We know many of you have missed these special moments, and your Disney character friends have missed you, too!
We are so excited to be able to share this news with all of you.

Finished up marathon weekend and walked away with a 10k medal! I love Disney races for all of the fun things along the course and getting to dress up while running! I was Winnie the Pooh and my mom was Tigger. 😊 My sister met us after the race and joined us as Piglet!
