Turner Safaris is a family owned safari company based in Kenya, operated by Sam & Becky Turner. Combining their passions and expertise in wildlife, conservation, photography and hospitality, Sam & Becky offer tailer-made safaris designed to meet your dreams and fill your soul.
As a third generation Kenyan with family that has been in the industry for decades, Sam was born and raised in Kenya. Moving to the States, Sam then embarked on a culinary and hospitality journey that took him from Jackson Hole to Napa Valley, and finally to Sun Valley, Idaho, where he owned an award-winning restaurant.
Developing a deep passion for Kenya while on safari as a child, Becky began working in the wildlife conservation and photography field in Kenya when she was 16, spurring the start of her career throughout Africa and the States. Becky has been recognised internationally for her work, which has been exhibited in numerous venues including the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
Drawn together by their love of Kenya, its culture, wildlife and wild lands, Sam & Becky wed in the hills of northern Kenya in 2018, and moved there the following year with their six-week-old daughter, Tahlia. With years spent running top camps in the industry, and completing their family with their son, Jens, they combined their passions and founded Turner Safaris.
