Kisii town, also known as Getembe or Bosongo, is a vibrant municipality and urban center located in south-western Kenya. It serves as the capital of Kisii County and is a significant commercial hub in the Gusii Highlands, encompassing Kisii and Nyamira counties, as well as the South Nyanza region. It’s the second largest town in the greater Nyanza area after Kisumu City1.
