Wadau little is known about this areas, apart from the Coastal beaches and the wildlife safari trips of the Mara, there exist an abundance joy beyond the sunsets of Kisumu’s Lake Victoria.

RUMA NATIONAL PARK
This is the only sanctuary in Kenya that you will find the Roan antelopes, its situated deep down the Lambwe valley in Homabay County. Other animals to Oribi,girraffes,water buffaloes, Rhinos
Best time to travel here is in Jun-October
EL-MOLO CRODILE PARK
Just like the Mombasa Mamba Village, there exist at the hearts of Siaya County uhanya beach, an amazing crocodile park. It’s also a good destination for Camping “Yes Camping” and family holidays

KAKAMEGA FOREST NATIONAL RESERVE
The bird Watchers here we are?
This is the only remnant in Kenya of the once great tropical forest, that stretched across Central Africa, enyewe the world was beautiful back then. I can only imagine when tropical forest was a whole stretch.
The forest has in abundance different species of birds, hiking trails, trips to the falls and Kwa the USIKU SACCO nighttime safaris.
Best time to visit – December to Feb, it’s driest in April
SAIWA SWAMP NATIONAL PARK
Hii niko sure hamkujua that it is the SMALLEST National park in Kenya, it is located in Trans-Nzoia County. It was specifically created for the habitation of the rare aquatic,sitatunga antelopes and preservation for the De’braza Monkeys. Also a very nice bird watching area.
Best time – all year roung, a littles problem during the rainy seasons.

MOUNT ELGON NATIONAL RESERVE
Vaa viatu tuvuke boarder, like Mt Elgon offers cross boarder hikes. It’s the highest point in the western region, offering an adverse wilderness.

READ THE STORY OF HISTORIC SUDAN
Extinction is real... Sudan was the last surviving Northern White Rhino
Remains were taken to Czech Republic for Taxidermy studies
National Museum of Kenya - Nairobi recently created an exhibition in honor of Sudan.
This photo is from 2009, moments after Sudan arrived in Kenya at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and took his first mud bath since leaving the African continent 35 years earlier.
Sudan was taken from Sudan as a two year old in 1975. The decision to move Sudan to the Dvůr Králové Zoo may have saved his life; the last known wild northern white rhinos were poached on the border of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2004.
We have just launched the new short film “Remembering Sudan,” documenting the heartbreaking crisis facing northern white rhinos, the incredible efforts to save them, and the work of keepers like Zacharia Mutai of Conservancy, who sacrifice so much to protect them.
I hope that you will take time to watch it and support the important conservation work of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. All ticket sales go to supporting , which cares for Najin and Fatu, the last two northern white rhinos on the planet.
