3 things you can do to achieve healthier hair😌
1. OIL YOUR SCALP
Oiling your scalp is a great way to add useful vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids to your hair. These ingredients contribute to nourishing your scalp, encouraging growth, and maintaining moisture. Please keep in mind that all oils were not made for everyone.
oils to use:
Almond oil soothes and moisturizes the scalp.
Cedarwood oil stimulates the scalp and promotes hair growth.
Chamomile oil adds shine and softness to hair, and soothes the scalp.
Clary sage oil promotes hair growth and stimulates the scalp.
Coconut oil softens hair and increases shine.
Geranium oil strengthens hair.
Jojoba oil moisturizes the hair, adds nutrients, and stimulates the scalp.
Lavender oil deep conditions the hair, keeps it shiny, and helps control dandruff.
Moroccan argan oil moisturizes, nourishes, and provides antioxidants to hair.
Rosemary oil stimulates the roots, improves hair growth, and increases circulation in the scalp.
Sandalwood oil helps with dry ends, and adds fragrance to the hair.
Tea tree oil helps relieve a dry and flaky scalp.
2. ONLY SHAMPOO YOUR SCALP
When you apply shampoo to the scalp and roots of the hair and subsequently lather and rub in, you get rid of most of the oil and dirt in the hair, as it mostly originated in the scalp. Any dirt or oil on the shafts of the hair will be washed away when you rinse the shampoo out of your scalp and roots. This also prevents dry and brittle ends.
3. ALWAYS ONLY CONDITION YOUR MID STRANDS THROUGH ENDS
You should apply conditioner from mid-strands to ends. This helps to avoid any buildup and/or excess sebum (oil) production. A healthy scalp naturally has a layer of sebum, so the hair closest to the scalp is the first place oil appears. Avoid conditioner on the scalp at all costs!
I know this was super long but I hope these 3 tips help you out with your hair care in some way! ✨
