The baobab also know as “the upside down tree”.

Legend has it that when God was giving all the animals a seed of a different tree to plant, the hyena was last in line to receive his seed. He was so angry about the fact that he was last he decided to plant the seed of the baobab upside down so that the tree would grow upside down.

Baobab trees can stay for about 9 months without having leaves and that makes their branches look like roots.
What most people don’t know is that the tree can store a lot of water in their trunk. So when it gets really dry the elephants will actually destroy the trunk of the tree to get water.
