Kindly note that we have made the painful decision to postpone the event by a month, to be from *28th to 29th Sep*

The region at Ngare Ndare has been experiencing higher than normal rainfall and this has meant that the water levels are a bit higher. Moreover, the water quality has been affected and the whole system is currently a brown colour

Our discussion with the rangers has left us with the decision to postone to Sep to get the best chances of seeing and experiencing the blue waters of Ngare Ndare

Even if the rains were to stop now, it takes a while for the river to clear up and all the mud to settle down. By extending the time to 7 weeks ahead, we hope to give you a better experience

Please accept our apologies for this change - we are doing this to give you a better chance of experiencing Ngare Ndare at it’s best, in warmer and dryer weather

Samburu is definitely the hidden gem of the north and we appreciate everyone who made this visit possible ✨
