Around Lake Naivasha, there are many activities to explore. A fun and adventurous way to spend the day is to rent a mountain bike and cycle through the beautiful Hells Gate National Park where you will stand face-to-face with the wild animals that inhabit the park. 🚵‍♀️🚵

The park is named after the narrow passage in the cliffs that can be found there, created by the volcanic eruptions and the underground volcanic activity.

Fun fact - the ungainly gnu (pronounced “g-new” or simply “new”) earned the Afrikaans name wildebeest, or “wild beast,” for the menacing appearance presented by its large head, shaggy mane, pointed beard, and sharp, curved horns.

Since the beginning of this year, an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system has replaced the eVisa system for Kenya. All visitors including infants and children who intend to travel to the Republic of Kenya must have an approved eTA before the start of their journey.

Who are we? We are Robert and Ester, founders of Fika Safaris. After having lived in many countries in East-Africa we settled down in Nairobi (Kenya) more than 5 years ago. Our wanderlust, background in tourism and the hotel industry made us decide to start our own safari company in 2015.
