Tourist Information Center in Karakol Tourist Information Centre (TIC) of Karakol town – the organization, where works students of the university after K. Tynystanov Tynystanov.

Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is situated in Karakol town of Issyk-Kul region and was based by European commission, constitutor of which is serving as Issyk-Kul state university after K. Our center provides tourists with accommodation, food, renting, guides and porters. Also provides with information tourists and local peoples about sightseeing, natural monuments, trekking roads to neighboring

mountainous systems. Organizes tours in the town and nearby mountainous gorges. Apart from TIC provides with renting tents, mat, sleeping bag, selling souvenirs, postcards, magnets, maps, calendars, different kinds of books by a reasonable prices for tourists. Likewise, here possible to buy souvenirs made by a local peoples. One of the main functions of the TIC is to inform the visitors about the fairs, arrangements, festivals. Here you can see places of interests of region. The local people will find of collaborating joint works, so the managers will support with any kind of information. In our office you can find map of our area (trekking, of town, region), internet (WIFI) and library (special for tourists).
