KOH KER ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE,
LIST IN THE WORLD HERITAGE

The Koh Ker Temple archaeological site in Cambodia was officially added to the UNESCO World Heritage List during the ongoing 45th session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The ancient temple, also called Lingapura or Chok Gargyar, is located in Srayong township in Kulen district of Preah Vihear province. According to UNESCO, the Koh Ker site covers an area of 1,187 hectares.

In a congratulatory letter dated September 17, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet described the listing as a historic event, noting that the temple was built in the 10th century by King Jayavarman IV.

Cambodia is a country in Southeast Asia that receives the monsoon wind and divides the seasons into two separate seasons: the dry season and the rainy season. Tonle Snguot temple is hospital which was built the reign of king Jayavarman VII (1181 - 1220 A.D). In this year, 2021 Apsara authority completed it's restoration. It looks so attractive and attractive.
