The schoolmaster will give you an overview of the educational reality in Preah Dak. The fact is that the poorest families can't afford to send their children to the public school. Moreover the parents need their children to work at the farm. This means that we can't start teaching until 5 pm. Our mission is to bring the children out of illiteacy, so we teach them to read and write Khmer and English to give them a better chance in life.
