The JSA area is a military zone where public can't easily access. At the same time, JSA area is truly unique area where you can see South and North Korean soldiers sharing a space and standing on the border together.

8/16 Jamboree DMZ(Netherland Team, Troop 3, 9, 16, 17)

Team Troop 9, They took a group picture with Korean soldier at Dora observatory.

Team Troop 3 & Troop 16 took a group photo in front of the DMZ sign.
Also, Troop 3 took a phtoto in front of fence covered with purple ribbons. The purple color is so beautiful.

The camera caught the moment when Troop 17 passed by the rusty train.
What do scout students think of the rusty train, the scars of war? I hope they feel the importance of peace and go back.

All the Netherland scouts must have returned home by now and gone back to their daily lives.

I hope they had a good memory in Korea and remember the moment of Korea for a long time.

8/15 Jamboree DMZ(England Team, Afternoon team -Unit 15, 25, 27, 37, 38, 40, 61, 62, 74, 75, 90)

There was a team that crossed to Camp Grieves by gondola from Imjingak Park.
Unit 25 team members all look excited. Very good.

Unit 37, 40, 61 took a group photo in front of Camp Grieves barracks.
The thick greenery of the trees is very refreshing.

Unit 90 team members are seriously looking around the exhibition hall of Camp Grieves.
The story of the student soldiers who had to go to war at a young age always touches my heart.

Unit 15 and 25 teams took a group photo at the ammunition dump. A dashing deer with nice horns stands out.

Unit 62 and 75 teams took pictures at Imjingak Park. They took group photo besides the rusty train, the symbol of Imjingak park and Imjingak Park sign.

This is a group photo of Unit 27 and 74 teams in the bus. The excitement continues even in the bus.

Hope you all had fun and happy at Camp Greaves.

8/15 Jamboree DMZ(England Team, Morning team -Unit 28, 29, 35, 36, 41, 43, 58, 60, 76, 80, 84, 89)

August 15 is a memorable day for Korea. It's because it's Korea's Liberation Day.
They visited Camp Greaves as an alternative schedule because the DMZ is off for the holiday.

Team unit 76, 84 and 80 took a photo at the ammunition depot at Camp Greaves.
It's an ammunition dump decorated with colorful lights, and it's so fantastic.
In the ammunition department, you can see an exhibition that expresses the message of the circulation of life using artifacts and natural objects.
The deer with its branches sticking out of its horns like a tree is also very wonderful and unique.

Team unit 60, 41, 36 took a group photo at the barracks.
Thank you Camp Greaves for warm welcome to the Jamboree British students.

Team unit 28, 89 took a group photo while tying a ribbon of peace.
It's so nice to see you smiling brightly while writing a message of peace on the ribbon.

Team unit 29 took a group photo at Imjingak Park.
The female soldier mascot is so cute.

Team unit 35, They took a photo in the Bus. They looks excited waving a souvenir.

Camp Greaves would have been a special experience for everyone because it's not an easy place to access.

8/13 Jamboree DMZ(England Team, Morning team -Unit 42, 46, 47, 54, 55, 56, 57, 59, 63, 71, 87)

Team Unit 46 & 87 took a picture when they tie ribbon of peace.
Team Unit 46, The boys seems to be thinking deeply in front of the barbed wire that divides the South and the North Korea. especially boy stand on far left side, You look quite serious.

As always, the front of DMZ Sign is a popular place for group photos.
Team Unit 59 & Unit 71 & Unit 63 & Unit 47 & Unit 55 took a group photo with DMZ sign.
Expecially Team Unit 47! what a cheerful picture!

Team Unit 57 & Unit 54 took a group picture at 3rd tunnel. Team Unit 57, what a good big smile! And Team 54, What a natural moment when they take a group picture.

Team Unit 56 took a group picture at Dora Observatory. Look at that cool flag of Team Unit 56. I Love their team mascot

8/13 Jamboree DMZ (Team England, Afternoon - 16, 26, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 73, 83, 85, 88)

Team Unit 51&85&52 took a pictures at the place where they tie the ribbons of peace.
It warms my heart to see that they happily tying ribbons in bright smile with their friends.

I can see the tank on display behind the group photo of Team Unit 73 . I can feel that it is really a military area.

Team Unit 88 took a group photo with a finger heart in front of a broken railroad track.

Team Unit 48 took a group photo in front of a rusty train stopped by the war. When the railroad will be extended and train can go through North Korea and even to Russia? I'm really looking forward to that day.

The popular photo spot in this area! the DMZ sign. We can't just let it go. Team Unit 50 & 26 took a group photo in front of DMZ sign.

Team Unit 16&83&53 took a group photo at the Dora Observatory. From the observatory, you can see Kaesong(North Korea territory) through a telescope, and if you are lucky, you can see North Koreans working in the fields .

Thank you for enjoying the DMZ tour although it's indeed a hot day.

8/13 Jamboree DMZ(Netherland Team, Troop 1, 2, 5, 15, 24, 25, 31, 34)

Team Troop 1, They took a really nice group picture at the old Dora Observatory. what a great picture composition!

Team Troop 2 & Troop 15 & Troop 25, I took a group photo in front of the colorful DMZ sign.
Especially Troop25, taking pictures of friends sticking to the alphabet. It's so nice to see.

Team Troop 24 & Troop 31, you took a group photo in front of the third tunnel.
It's really interesting to see the concept of pushing and pasting the split circle from both sides.

Team Troop 34 looked around the rusty train in Imjingak Park. Looks like the moment they looking around the rusty train area was taken by accident!

Team Troop 5 took a group photo in front of Mangbaedan. How can everyone look so happy? Just looking at the picture makes me feel good.

7/30 Jamboree DMZ(England Team, Afternoon team -Unit18, 21, 30, 31, 32, 45, 49, 64, 72, 78, 82)

Team Unit 21, what a wonderful group picture. I think they made a good arrangement when they take a picture so that everyone can come out well in the picture. I can see the DMZ sign' s detail well too!

Team Unit 49 & 64, they took a group picture at Dora obsrvatory
The Dora Observatory has not only a rooftop observatory, but also an indoor observatory where you can watch North Korea side from the inside of building through a large window.

Team Unit 78 & 30, they happily tied the ribbon to wire fence. Unit 78's student movement looks like they are dancing(But actually it was moment of shouting slogan).

Team Unit 18 & 31 & 32 & 45& 72 & 82,
Every Team took a great group photos at various places such as DMZ Sign, 3rd Tunnel, and Dora Observatory.

Koridoor tours hope that they make a lot of good memories in Korea for the rest of their schedule.

7/30 Jamboree DMZ(England Team, Morning team -Unit14, 19, 20, 39, 65, 66, 68, 69, 77, 79, 86)

Team unit 86, They are avoiding the stinging sun shine under the pavilion. It was really hot weather.

Team unit 19 & unit 68, They are tying ribbons to barbed wire fence. I think purple ribbon is really pretty among the colorful ribbon colors. (Personal taste ^^)

Team unit 14, Everyone is wearing sunglasses because of the intense sunlight! It's a good way to avoid the sun. In this weather, let's protect our skin by put on suncream well and protect our eyes by wearing sunglasses.

Team unit 69, They took a great picture in front of the rusty train, the symbol of Imjingak.

Team unit 20, Were they trying to make a heart over their heads? so cute.

Team unit 39, They took a group photo in side of 3rd tunnel exhibition building.

Team unit 66& 65&77&79, They also took a nice group photo at DMZ sign & Dora observatory.

7/30 Jamboree DMZ(Netherlands Team, Troop 32, 28, 19, 33, 35, 4)

Team troop 33, Their group photo looks very lively.
A few hours before they take a group photo, the Netherland team was getting on a bus from their accommodation.
Since they gathered early in the morning(6:30am), they must had been sleepy.
At Dora Observatory, they took a picture with the guide in the background of Kaesong too.

Team troop 28, students arrived at the Dora Observatory and huddle in a telescope to observe North Korea's Kaesong.

Troop 32 team took a group photo in front of Mangbaedan.
Mangbaedan is a place where displaced people, whose hometown is North Korea, gather here on holidays such as Lunar New Year and Chuseok to hold ancestral rites and soothe their hearts.
My heart aches because I can understand their wish to soothe their sorrow little more closer to their hometown.

Team Troop 19 & Troop 35 also took a group photo, frowning and shading in the strong sunlight^^

I hope they had a meaningful time to comfort the suffering of displaced people who can not go to their hometowns in Imjingak and to remind them of the importance of peace.

7/29 Jamboree DMZ(England Team, Afternoon team -Unit1, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 24, 33, 81)

On the 29th, the British Students was divided into morning tour team and afternoon tour teams to visit the DMZ.

There were many unique group photos of various teams that participated in this afternoon, so I was happy all the time whenever I see the pictures.

Team unite 11 took a group photo in front of the rusty train, and the student in the front row's colorful hair stands out. It looks like cotton candy
If you look at the Unite's 5 group photo, almost everyone is wearing a hat. It's good to wear a hat to cover the sun when you go out out doors in hot weather.

I can't help but smile when I see the picture of the Unite 24 team with their faces in photo stand. They look like a little scamp.

Team Unite 6 took a group photo with their own unique hearts motion. It's so lovely.

Unite 1, Unite 12, Unite 13, Unite 81, Unite 8, Unite9, Unite33, all took great group photos in front of DMZ Sign, Dora Observatory, and Third Tunnel.

I felt grateful for finish the DMZ tour at that day safely, despite of the hot weather.
Without the cooperation of the guide, bus driver, team leader, and students, we can't make this wonderful tour.

7/29 Jamboree DMZ(England Team, Morning team -Unit2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 17, 22, 23, 34, 44, 67)

The main character of today's posting is the British team in a strong red uniform.

Team Unite 2, salute like a soldier in the photo zone before entering the third tunnel. That's cool.

Team Unite 23 also took a group photo wearing a yellow safety helmet before entering the 3rd tunnel.
When entering the 3rd tunnel, you must wear a safety helmet because you can hit your head on a low ceiling.

Tha camera took a moments of The Unite 7 team and the Unite 67 team, when they carefully put on a ribbon of peace.

Team Unite 44 took a really cute and refreshing picture! Especially the bottom left girl! she is adorable.

Team Unite 4 and Team Unite 10 took a group photo in front of the rusty train.
The rusty train is also a symbol of Imjingak Park.

Unite 3 team & Unite 17 team & and Unite 34 team took a group photo neatly in line. It's so nice to see.

Looking at the banner they opened, The duck must be the Unite 22 team's mascot? Quackers? That's cute.

I hope that the culture exchange between Korea and Britain will become more active and that friendly relations will continue.

It was really hot and sunny weather.

The color of the Netherland team uniform mixed with orange and blue is very unique and out standing.
When ever I see the picture of Netherlands team, I can feel Student's orange-like fresh energy comes out through the picture.

7/28 Jamboree DMZ(England Team-IST1, IST2, IST3, IST4, IST5, IST6, IST7, IST8, IST9

England also participated in the Jamboree event.
It is so nice to meet friends from all over the world.

From the Dora Observatory, you can see the Kaesong Industrial Complex in North Korea through a telescope. It's cute to look in the same direction with a telescope.

The England team had lunch with a Korean buffet at a Tongilchon restaurant.
I hope Korean food suits your taste.

Looking at the picture, I can see that every England team enjoyed the DMZ with a happy face.
At Imjingak Park, people enjoyed the DMZ by hanging pretty ribbons of peace and taking pictures on rusty trains.

Wheelchair users also participated in this tour and looked around the DMZ. It was very impressive to see her braveness and confident.
It doesn't matter whether you're tall, short, thin, or fat, whether you're disabled or not. You can make more pleasant memories if you help and care for each other.

Troop 21 team, this is the cutest photo of the day.

Here are the variety expression of the Troop 18 team before tying a ribbon with a message on the wire.

Troop 11 team, nice group photo in front of DMZ sign before entering 3rd tunnel. I wonder if the person lying on the floor is not hot on the asphalt road.

Troop 06 team, haha~ The backpack must have been pretty heavy. There's a mountain of bags in front of them.

7/27 Jamboree DMZ (Netherlands Team-Troop 08, 12, 14, 26)

Unlike the previous day, the weather was really sunny and clear.
The weather was so nice that all the teams took a wonderful group photo with DMZ sign under the clean blue sky.

The road from the old Dora Observatory to the new Dora Observatory was steep, but we walk up at a brisk pace. GO! Team Troop 26!
The rusty train that stopped in front of the broken railroad is really impressive.
And students tied some ribbons with a message of peace to the barbed wire next to the railroad tracks.

We all pray for peace.

7/26 Jamboree DMZ (Netherlands Team-Troop 07, 10, 13, 20, 30)

Although the weather was slightly cloudy, the DMZ tour began with bright smiles from the students.
As a staff of Koridoor Tours, organizing the photos of the students' bright smiles, naturally make me smile.

Team Troop 13's witty performance of pushing and connecting split semicircles is so fun.

It's so nice to see you posing energetically while waiting for your lunch box. Receiving lunch boxes in an orderly manner in a single line will all be a great memory later on. The lunch box must have been very delicious because they were hungry after walking and sightseeing all day.

The Troop 20 team showed a cute gesture of finger hearts on the bus back home, even though it must have been tough in hot and humid weather.

I hope everyone can go back to the Netherlands with only good memories of Korea.

Ganhwa NLL private tour on Feb 14

The scenery of North Korea from the Ganghwa Peace Observatory was much closer than we thought.
The Ganghwa Peace Observatory also displayed posters of North Korea's regime.

There was also a friendly traditional restaurant in Daeryong Market.
It seems that they also sell side dishes and sauces made by themselves.
