Tongdosa Temple - a unique place where you feel ancient (not renovated) heritage!

This unusual temple has no Buddha statue in the mail building, the relics of the Buddha substitute for a statue.

was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage in 2018 along with other sansa (mountain) monestaries that were recognized as a valuable heritage.

Would need to return here in spring:) 🙂

One of our groups recently went to Seoraksan National Park!
It's so lovely everywhere: up in the mountains and down in the beautiful stream, Piseondae Route.

is famous for autumn red leaves, will be with the updates later at the end of October:)

Easy way to transfer from Seoul Train station arrivals to Incheon!

If you come from let's say Busan to Seoul by train - when you come out just follow English signs "Airport railroad" and Blue arrow on the floor!

From the Information center on the 2nd floor of the station follow all the way down by escalator to B1 level and at the end if you want Non-stop AREX train to Incheon airport - just switch to the orange arrow line marked on the floor. AREX tickets can be purchased online or on the spot.

Actual walk straight will be around 10-15 min, but carrying your bags, stop on the way at the shop - washroom etc - have around 30-40 min between train arrival to Seoul station and AREX departure to Incheon airport. It will take around 43 min to get to Incheon Airport T1!

There is a new 5* property on Jeju opened on July 22nd - Jeju Parnas Hotel! 🏝

It's former Hyatt Regency Jeju which after complete renovation and new West Annex now has the best front ocean location among 5* hotels in Jeju.

110 meters infinity pool and with and brand new designed rooms have better value than other hotels in Jungmun area!👍

Korean traditional deserts in new design~~~
Познакомимся с летними десертами - в Корее теперь это смесь традиционного и технологий:) Пинсу - корейский десерт с ледянной крошкой, сладкими бобами и любой другой сладкой начинкой в виде фруктов и тд, сейчас к нему добавили манго, ягоды, зеленый чай, мороженое, сгущенку - зависит от автора и наличия ингредиентов. Обязательно попробуйте "пинсу" летом в Корее!

Буддийский храм Якчхонса - самый яркий и самый большой по масштабу храм не только на Чеджу, но и во всей Корее во всяком случае среди храмов буддийского направления Чоге. Здесь огромный деревянный Будда, целебный источник, а также 80.000 позолоченных статуэток Будды.

Лето, пальмы, пляжи - отправимся в самую южную часть Кореи - остров Чеджу. Пляж Хамдок в северном районе острова, здесь есть и кафе, рестораны, несколько небольших отелей, а можете и просто заехать сюда на день конечно в день с солнечной погодой и лучше всего в прилив:) Приятного отдыха!

Традиционный лыжный фестиваль Ру-ски проходил в этом году на курорте Хайван 6-9 янв, снег был замечательный, как обычно соревнования, призы и немного народу:))

Welcome to Jeju island underwater world)!

Небольшой экскурс в подводный мир острова: он привлекает дайверов тем, что расположен на границах субтропического и умеренного поясов: роскошные заросли мягких кораллов, всевозможных размеров, видов и расцветок (фиолетовые, малиновые, желтые, белые), fan-corals, анемоны, губки, стаи анчоусов и damsel fish, каракатицы, в зависимости от сезона - представителей тропических морей. Погружения проводятся как с берега, так и с островов, для сертифицированных дайверов есть boat diving. Сентябрь - ноябрь считается хорошим сезоном для дайвинга, прозрачность около 10-25 м, вода в поверхностных слоях около +20С, но все это относительно - погода на острове меняется очень часто)) Фото: Lee Woon Cheol
