The Company works in different areas and in different situations in Kuwait with a multinational work force. Hence, it is imperative on our part to understand that the life and safety of our Employees and Contractors are paramount and play a very vital and guiding role in our Business. We at L&D encourage the development and implementation of the Field Safety Program. The purpose of this Program is to;
1 Ensure the safety of our employees by providing effective safety training and maintaining safe work conditions.
2 Maintain high production standards by reducing the direct and indirect cost associated with jobsite accidents.
3 Comply with applicable Local, International safety standards. We are aware that our employees are our greatest asset and the key to our Company's profitability. We are also aware that accidents have a deteriorating effect on not only the morale of our personnel but also our ability to provide a quality product at a reasonable cost. 1 Review, acknowledge, and comply with all company work rules.
2 Report any injury and unsafe condition to your supervisor immediately.
3 Use the Personal Protective Equipment necessary for any assigned tasks.
4 Assist in accident/incident investigation when requested
5 Attend/participate in employee training programs.
6 Inspect all powered and mobile equipment to ensure all required guards are in place and, if so equipped, safety devices are functional before machine start-up.

Providing quality services is first at L&D. Through open lines of communication with our clients and a clear definition of project requirements, we ensure an uncompromising commitment to quality on each and every project. L&D has established a documented “Quality Management System” to control the quality of its projects by writing "ex*****on plans" tailored to meet the requirements of the client and that particular project. Each project is unique in its requirements and as such it is very difficult to categorize these requirements into standard procedures. Overview
As we are internally known offers a Full range of Civil Construction services including Civil Earth & Soil moving works, Civil Construction, Industrial Coating & Painting, Cable Pulling & Mechanical Fabrication works. Our cost control and scheduling programs are based upon proven milestones developed from our data for completed projects. This data allows us to project expenditures and chart productivity such that accurate predictions of cost can be made in conjunction with all construction activities. We assign a Site Engineer for each of the Project who will be authorized to take any quick decisions and he will be client’s single source of contact for the ex*****on of the Project. The Site Engineer is responsible for cost and schedule, manpower loading, coordination of tasks, monthly reporting, and communication for the project. All projects will commence with a kickoff meeting led by the Site Engineer in which all key project participants of L&D and the client will attend. Sand Blasting / industrial Coating & Painting Services
Sandblasting is a method used to clean surfaces, remove rust, oxidation, or finishes, preparing surfaces for new coating applications. This process thoroughly removes the material without harming the substrate. Blasting media is available in different shapes & types. Continuous exposure to the severe climate conditions in Kuwait at the crude oil industry (pipelines, tanks, etc…) and other steel structure is leading to corrosion formation, especially in the vicinity of the welded joints. In order to prevent and hence cure these costly structures from such undesired consequences, the industry pursues sandblasting operation. This process is 1st step to protect the surface against mineral oils and seawater, the pipelines and other structures are regularly inspected for damage due to rust. Any damaged sites are then refurbished by sandblasting them and applying a coating system consisting of anticorrosion primer, intermediate and top coat. L&D offers a wide range of Surface preparation & Painting services and we have work force and
Equipments enabling us to meet any volume of painting work. We at L&D follow latest painting techniques and our work forces are under continuous training. Our specialist team employs highly trained and qualified sand blasters and painters having many years of hands on experience. Services offered are; surface preparation by sand or grit blasting, hand or power brushing and needle gunning, paint or coating application using air spray, airless spray, brush or roller application to piping, ducting, storage tanks , structural steel , equipment, machinery, process vessels / towers, marine structures, industrial plant, chemical plant, factory processes and buildings. Typical sites covered include power and water production stations, oil refineries, petrochemical plant, oil fields, storage facilities (bulk and liquid), export facilities, marine structures, factories and commercial buildings.
