As of November 4. 2022 and pursuant to lATF Resolution No. 2, 2022, easing of testing and quarantine protocols for international arriving passengers will be implemented.

With this, fully vaccinated Filipino and foreign travelers are no longer required to present pre-departure testing results.

Announcement for Filipino clients

Hindi na mandatory ang pag fill-out ng Electronic Arrival Card (eArrival Card) bago sumakay ng eroplano ang mga pasaherong patungong Pilipinas.

Sinabi ni Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) officer-in-charge Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil na sa una ay inatasan ng DOH ang lahat ng mga papasok na biyahero na kumuha ng eArrival Card 72 oras bago ang kanilang flight sa Nobyembre 1.

Ang hindi makakapag fill out ng form bago ang kanilang flight ay maaring mag-fill out ng form sa airport.

“Hindi na ito mandatory, lanes will be set up in airports for this system,” dagdag pa niya.

Good news for our dear clients from UAE

UAE passport holders may travel to Japan without obtaining a prior visa starting November 1, 2022.

They can stay in the Asian country for up to 30 days for each visit for the purpose of tourism or work.

UAE citizens are no longer needed to submit an application at the Embassy of Japan in Abu Dhabi, apply for an exemption, or pay any fees.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that entry requirements to Japan still apply, including ensuring passport validity of at least six months, providing a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure, or presenting a certificate proving that the traveller has taken three doses of vaccinations approved in Japan, which are Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, or Sinopharm.
