Come see the aqua blue ocean and sandy white beach a whole new way when you stop at Grand Cayman. After coming ashore on the tender from your ship to the pier, you’ll meet your excursion team at Seven Mile Beach, a short distance from your Grand Cayman terminal. You will need to bring the printed out waiver that is attached! When you book, you will have the option to go solo by yourself, tandem wi
th a friend, or even triple with 3 of you up at the same time! If there are member in your group that would like to come along but not fly, there is an observer option too. Just check the restrictions to make sure you qualify. On board the boat, you’ll be given life jackets and a flight safety briefing by professional staff whose priority is your security and comfort. While taking turns parasailing, you’ll be cruising along Seven Mile Beach. The gorgeous crescent-shaped beach is home to luxury resorts and hotels, restaurants and bars. When it is your turn, the crew will hook your harness onto the sail and the wind will lift you from the back of the boat. You’ll be soaring about 500 ft above the water with 1000 ft of line released. Your flight is 10 to 12 minutes from take off to landing back on the boat; the flight time is the same whether you are going solo, tandem or triple. Depending on how many flights are required for your group to complete, you’ll be on the boat about 45 to 60 minutes to allow everyone a turn. The views are stunning and the ride very peaceful. From up above, you can see the capital city George Towns’ Waterfront Harbor, Seven Mile Beach and The North Sound, the largest protected bay on the island and where many boaters dock their boats. On your way back down to the boat, the captain will dip you into the water for a refreshing treat. Please let him know if you prefer not to do this. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the turquoise waters and white sand beaches but be sure to secure it to you before you fly. When everyone has had the chance to parasail, the boat will take you back to the beach starting point. You may choose to take a taxi directly back to the pier or you can choose to use the Royal Palms Beach Club facilities in front of the parasailing site. There is an additional fee of approximately $2.00 USD per person you pay on site. The fee will allow you to use Royal Palms Beach Club's pool, shower, restrooms, as well as make purchases from their restaurant. Then when you are ready, just take a taxi back to your Grand Cayman cruise terminal at your leisure and expense.
