This is one of the closest waterfalls in town. 🏞 I climbed to the top of the waterfall and discovered the natural beauty of nature.🚶♂️Your walk to the waterfall among the tall Fir Trees and the refreshing mountain air will be rewarding and unforgettable.

The national musical instruments of Kazakhstan are as diverse and rich as the culture and history of the country itself. Each instrument tells a unique story of the people, traditions, and customs of Kazakhstan.
The dombra is perhaps the most recognizable and beloved of all Kazakh musical instruments. Its pear-shaped body and two strings produce a distinctive twang that can evoke feelings of nostalgia and longing. For centuries, the dombra has been an essential part of Kazakh folk music and has accompanied epic poems, love ballads, and traditional dances.
The kobyz, on the other hand, is a hauntingly beautiful bowed instrument that has been used in Kazakh music since ancient times. Its unique sound can range from mournful and melancholic to upbeat and joyful, and it is often used to accompany stories and legends of Kazakh heroes and heroines.
The zhetygen is another traditional Kazakh instrument that is shaped like a long tube with a small wooden mouthpiece. It produces a deep and resonant sound that can be heard across vast distances. In the past, the zhetygen was used to communicate messages across the steppes and to summon people to important events.
Other Kazakh musical instruments include the shankobyz, a flute-like instrument made from the horn of a mountain goat; the sybyzgy, a mouth harp that produces a buzzing sound; and the kyl-kobyz, a two-stringed fiddle that is played vertically.
Together, these instruments form a rich tapestry of sound that reflects the diversity and beauty of Kazakh culture. They have been passed down from generation to generation and continue to play an important role in contemporary Kazakh music, as well as in the preservation of the country's rich cultural heritage.
The city of Turkestan is located in the South Kazakhstan region and is one of the oldest cities in Kazakhstan: it was founded more than 1500 years ago.
Turkestan (Yasi) was the political and spiritual center of the Turkic-speaking peoples and was the capital of the Kazakh Khanate for many centuries. One of the main attractions of the city is the mausoleum of Khoja Akhmet Yassaui, built in the late XIV - early XV centuries.
