The concept of Vang Vieng tubing is simple: You just pay once and get picked up at rhe hotel, and join the tubing which includes a three-kilometer tuk-tuk ride to the start of the tubing route.

Once you arrive, turn right and walk ten minutes down to where the bars start. The first one is Q Bar. From there, you can grab a beer or bucket and, when you’re ready to move on, throw your belongings into a dry bag and float down the river to the next one! The Lao boys will throw you a soda bottle attached to a rope and haul you in.

ROCK CLIMBING IN VANG VIENG

Rock climbing – a “must-do” in Southeast Asia! Vang Vieng is a stunning area for rock climbers.

We commenc gathering up all the essentials climbing gear consist of a helmet, harness, chalk, and climbing shoes, as well as plenty of water. Afterward heading towards the crag to climbing at Sleeping Wall which is about 3.5 km far away. The limestone formations at Sleeping Wall at Tham Norn crag were very unique! BLUE LAGOONS OF VANG VIENG, LAOS

There are a handful of stunning blue lagoons in Vang Vieng just waiting for you to explore.

How Many Blue Lagoons Are There in Vang Vieng?
There are a total of six lagoons and all of which are numbered from one to six. Therefore, there are no special names for each location, you can simply search ‘blue lagoon’ followed by a number and end up at one of the lagoons.

How to Get to the Lagoons ???
There are a couple of ways in which you can explore the lagoons for the day. First, by scooter and second by taxi or tuk-tuk.

Nonetheless, if we were to fall, we wouldn’t really hurt ourselves as it was only a small puddle to fall in. But, still not an ideal situation!

Therefore, I’d highly recommend going with a group of friends. A great way to see all the lagoons is to jump on scooters with a bunch of friends and slowly tour your way around to all of the locations. Moreover, this gives you the freedom to explore at your own leisurely pace.

Alternatively, I recommend considering a taxi or tuk-tuk to take you around. This is a much safer and faster way to get to the lagoons.

Experience the green forest canopy that covers the mountains on the side of the river. Make your way along a stream down to the zip line at the Tham None river bank. Get strapped in and take an exciting zip line ride over the green forest and river below. There are 6 lines in total for you to enjoy.

Before the zip line experience, your guide will walk you through the instructions and safety training. Fly 4,440 feet over beautiful landscape.

You can also choose an option to upgrade your journey by visiting Tham Nam None Cave during this half-day tour. If you choose the Tham Nam None Cave option, you can explore the secluded cave that served as a place of refuge for people caught up in the chaos of the Indochina Wars.
