Christmas Hike event with S1 students Ste Louise School Ajaltoun, from Tabrieh to Cha7toul - Hiyata... With GoHiking Group

Date: Thursday 22 December 2022
We will start our journey from the village of
Tabrieh and walk towards Cha7toul village passing through Ozer Forest and visiting many old houses and caves, after which we will cross the Ozer forest of Cha7toul - Wata l jooz and its wonderful trees all the way to cedars forest of Tabrieh.

We will start our journey from the village of
Baskinta and walk towards the river, passing through Baskinta's Literary Path, the Seif Al-Dawla Cave, and the Church of Our Lady of Al-Khela, after which we will cross the hidden valley and its wonderful caves, its ruins and its Canaanite sarcophagi, all the way to Lake Zaarour.
إنطلاقا" من بسكنتا القرية ونزولا" نحو ضفة النهر مرورا" بدرب بسكنتا الادبي ومغارة سيف الدولة وكنيسة سيدة الخلة ثم عبور الوادي الخفي ومغاوره الرائعة وآثاراته ونواويسه الكنعانية وصولا" الى بحيرة الزعرور.

انطلاقا"من القليعات عاصمة كسروان مرورا" بمسار جديد رائع في قلب جبل نهر الصليب حيث المناظر الخلابة والبيوت القديمة الأثرية وصولا" الى شير نهر دير شمرا من خلال مسار جديد يربط كسروان بمنطقة المتن، وصولا" الى الجسر الخشبي الذي يربط خراج زرعايا - دير شمرا نزولا" الى شلال دير شمرا وختاما" على مدخل نهر الصليب (جهة قليعات - بكفيا)

Elevation ⛰️ 1000m - 650m - 750m - 550m - 650m

Total ascent ↗️ 200 m moderate uphills
Total descent ↘️ 350 m not steep but smooth downhills
