𝘔𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘺𝘱𝘩𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘢
قبرة شرقية صغيرة (دلي شرقي)

A chunky ground-dwelling songbird with a large-headed, short-tailed profile is found in arid open areas such as deserts and steppe. Readily confused with other large larks, look for the bulky, dark-tipped bill, rounded ear patch, and a black band below the throat with a break in the middle.

Our next Species is a member of the tit family found in southeast Europe and southwest Asia, it occurs in low density in thin woodlands at the elevation range between 1000 and 1600 metres above sea level.

Tour Schedule:
- Date: Sat 11 May 2024
- Meeting time: 6:15 am.
- Meeting point: Wetland Entrance.
- Duration: 4 to 5 hours.
What to Bring:
- Small Backpack.
- Snacks.
- Reusable water bottles.
- Binoculars/Camera (if available).
What to Wear:
- Comfortable Shoes (get a second pair, muddy terrain to be expected).
- Hat, Beanie. - Jacket (wind/waterproof).
- Comfortable and warm outfit: earthy colours (brown - khaki - beige .....).

Wetlands play a crucial role in our environment. They serve as essential habitats for fish, waterfowl, and various wildlife. Moreover, wetlands act as natural filters, cleaning polluted waters, and act as a buffer against the destructive forces of floods and storms.

In addition to their ecological functions, wetlands offer diverse recreational opportunities, including hiking, photography, and wildlife observation. Recognizing their numerous benefits, wetlands are now increasingly valued as productive and essential resources that deserve protection and restoration efforts.

The importance of wetlands lies in their ability to:

- Enhance water quality
- Provide homes for wildlife
