. Lucia – an UNESCO World Heritage Site, observe coastal villages of the island, enjoy a delicious lunch and maybe enjoy a therapeutic mud bath! Meet your knowledgeable English-speaking guide by the cruise terminal and take a brief transfer to where your vessel is docked just a few minutes from your pier. The friendly crew will welcome you onboard and then you will set sail along the coast to your destination of Soufriere. The crew will serve hors d'oeuvres as you cruise past the coastal villages of Anse La Raye and Canaries. You will also enjoy wonderful views of the most famous landmark, the Pitons. There are multiple photo opps on this excursion so a waterproof camera is recommended. Once you arrive in Soufriere, disembark your boat and jump on ground air-conditioned transportation for a short ride to the Diamond Botanical Gardens, the oldest botanical gardens on the island. Lunch consists of a traditional St. Lucia creole style feast with choices that vary daily (typically chicken, rice with beans, fried plantains, etc). Head next to the nearby Sulphur Springs to enjoy a relaxing mud bath, famous for their skin rejuvenation properties. You may prefer to take a visit of the volcano instead. After the mud bath or volcano visit, it is 10-minute ride back to where your catamaran is docked and where once on board, you will set sail again. On your way back to the catamaran dock, enjoy a stop in a secluded bay for a refreshing dip in the turquoise Caribbean waters. Grab the snorkel gear included onboard and see some of the incredible marine life. Or just relax on the deck. There is plenty of shade, sunning areas, restrooms and an open bar! Continue sailing and visit Marigot Bay en route before arriving directly at the cruise ship terminal.

"We had a fun time on the tour. We were met at the dock, but there was a little confusion of where to meet. Even though the boat arrived early and many other companies were at the pick-up point, our company came closer to the stated time. That is good and bad...we waited around the pickup area for about 45 minutes. There was a short ride to catamaran dock, where people from several tours were put onto the same catamaran for a short sail to another dock where we were divided. Be sure to keep a copy of your receipt/voucher as a family we were traveling with (and another family as well) were told they were going on a different tour than what they booked. After some insistence, the on board guide called the main office and cleared up the confusion. This tour was good and after a visit to the botanical garden, we were given the option of going to the mud baths or touring the volcano. We chose the volcano tour, which is really a quick look at steam ports and active mineral pools. Following the visit to the volcanoes, we went to a plantation for a lunch of local cuisine. It was an excellent lunch. After the visit to Soufriere, we sailed to a spot for some snorkeling. It was a short visit and could have been improved by allowing the snorkelers to have fins. It was difficult to swim to the small reef area and back to the boat without fins. Following our snorkeling, we then sailed back to the cruise ship dock with a drop off a short walking distance from the ship. We made a quick sail through Marigot Bay for some sightseeing of some really nice yachts. The catamaran was well maintained and the crew onboard was helpful. Drinks were available and snacks were available on the boat." - LewieE January, 2018
