This year’s campaign focuses on land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience under the slogan “Our land. Our future.” At Ecowave, we are proud to work with smallholder organic farmers who are at the heart of this mission.
Our dedicated farmers are transforming landscapes through sustainable practices such as agroforestry and organic farming. By integrating trees and crops, they enhance soil fertility, conserve water, and combat desertification. Their commitment to organic methods ensures that the land remains healthy and productive, providing a resilient future for their communities.
These efforts directly contribute to this year’s theme by:
Restoring degraded lands through agroforestry.
Improving drought resilience with sustainable farming practices.
Preserving biodiversity and promoting ecosystem health.

Climate change affects all of us. Young people are the most affected category by its consequences: they need to respond in the future to our present choices. For this reason, we want to support them in becoming leaders in the promotion of sustainable development in their communities.
🍀 Thanks to MAD - Make a difference! project, we helped develop a network of 300 young activists from 3 different countries, Italy, Vietnam and Sri Lanka, to share activism practices, train on specific issues related to climate change and strengthen the ability to activate their communities bottom-up.
We focused on three specific topics:
👚 Fast Fashion
🔦 Responsible tourism
♻️ Fight against pollution and recycling of materials
The activists organized local campaigns on these issues, online and in their communities, to create local impact and bring about grassroots change.
