The main strength for a team taking part in a big tournament is to be playing in familiar conditions. Sri Lanka have that comfort in this edition of the T20 World Cup with the matches being held in the Island Nation.
Looking at the overall team , Sri Lanka have a well-balanced side and all what need is Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara and Tillakaratne Dilshan have big to score.
And also have a lots of talented players in the line-up with the team likes of Dinesh Chandimal and Lahiru Thirimanne ,Angelo Mathews and Jeevan Mendis are able & some are all-rounders, who have the ability to win matches on their own.
And of cause the presence of Lasith Malinga is a big strength to the home side while Nuwan Kulasekara and Shaminda Eranga are also more than capable of troubling the opposition batsmen well.
Finally we can say that if they do perform really well with good luck
"The cup may well not leave the country".............
