🔹Kevulgama Ambalama in Medamahanuwara is an ancient wooden wayside rest hidden faraway from the common road networks.
🔹Considerably small, the base of the structure is made of four large wooden beams raised from the ground. Four finely carved wooden pillars rising from the base holds the roof.

🔹To reach the Ambalama travel to Hunnasgiriya from Kandy through Digana, Theldeniya and Rambukwella.
🔸From the Hunnasgiriya town take the Nugethanne road and travel for 750 meters and and take the left hand turn from the folk on to the Kevulgama Road.
🔸Travel 5 km on the Kevulgama road upto Kevulgama Gal Len Viharaya (Kevulgama Sri Dalada Gaman Viharaya). The ambalama lies just before the temple.
🔹You need to buy a ticket from the ticketing counter to enter the trail

🔹මැදමහනුවර කෙවුල්ගම අම්බලම යනු සාමාන්‍ය පරිසරයෙන් බොහෝ දුරින් සැගවී ඇති පැරණි ලී අම්බලමකි.
🔹සැලකිය යුතු තරම් කුඩා වන අතර, ව්‍යුහයේ පාදම බිම සිට ඉහළට ඔසවා ඇති විශාල ලී බාල්ක හතරකින් සාදා ඇත. පාදමේ සිට නැඟී එන සිහින් කැටයම් කළ ලී කණු හතරක් වහලය රඳවා ඇත.
🔹පිවිසීමට පෙර ප්‍රවේශ පත්‍ර මිලදී ගත යුතුය.
🔹 අම්බලමට පැමිණීමට මහනුවර සිට දිගන, තෙල්දෙණිය සහ රඹුක්වැල්ල හරහා හුන්නස්ගිරියට ගමන් කලයුතුය.
🔸හුන්නස්ගිරිය නගරයේ සිට නුගේතැන්නේ මාර්ගයේ මීටර් 750ක් ගමන් කර ජනාකීර්ණයෙන් වම් පැත්තට හැරී කෙවුල්ගම පාරට පිවිසී කෙවුල්ගම මාර්ගයේ කෙවුල්ගම ගල්ලෙන් විහාරය (කෙවුල්ගම ශ්‍රී දළදා ගමන විහාරය) දක්වා කිලෝමීටර 5ක් ගමන් කිරීමේදී අම්බලම ඇත්තේ පන්සලට මදක් ඉදිරියෙනි.
