Celebrating World Tourism Day on 27th of October, Tourism Club attached to the Department of Archaeology, University of Kelaniya wish to present “Golden Foot Print of Tourism–2017”on the theme “Refresh your heart with Sustainability” 4th one.
“Golden Foot Print of Tourism” will be one of the new mega events in University of Kelaniya. The target groups for this event are academic staff, non-academi
c staff and the students of the Kelaniya University. The foremost objective of this exhibition is to the enhancement practical and theoretical knowledge of the academics based on the diverse industrial experience offered by the leading parties in Sri Lankan tourism industry. Moreover this enthusiastic event will rejuvenate the undergraduates who are following Tourism and Cultural Resource Management Degree program at University of Kelaniya. This exhibition is about to be empowered by most of the leading companies and representatives from both travel and hospitality sectors in Sri Lanka. In addition, visitors will gain opportunity to improve knowledge on these representatives while enjoying this colorful day. Our continued success is marked by regularly bringing practically educational activities and a quality concern career opportunity to the students. Connecting academic community and students together, protecting community relationships with society and rebuilding team spirit among the students, improvement of inter faculty unity, enhancement of students’ promotion and presentation skills are the prior goals of this event. All the academic and non-academic staff members of the University have been invited for this event while all the undergraduates are openly invited as the participants.
