❤️The origin story of Prince's place❤️ Newspaper advertisements were published in October 2020 stating that as a national program of the government held in the year 2020, investment opportunities will be provided in government land to encourage young entrepreneurs, and how to send applications for it. For this, any youth in any part of the island had the opportunity to request land in any divisional secretariat of the island. Even though I was a young man in my final year of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka at that time, I forwarded an application to the Divisional Secretariat Passara asking for land for an eco-friendly tourism business according to the newspaper advertisement, with the aim of realizing my dream of becoming a good entrepreneur without waiting for a graduate to get a job from the government.
Accordingly, hundreds of people who sent applications appeared for the interview in March 2021 and it was mandatory to submit the project report related to our request on that day. After the interviews, out of hundreds of applicants, about 8 people residing in Passara Divisional Secretariat Division and other Divisional Secretariat Divisions were qualified and I was included in it. According to the project of the qualified people, the officials of the office including the Divisional Secretary identified the suitable lands and pointed out the lands to the qualified people and in relation to each project, the lands were pointed out in the suitable places and permission was given to access the land from September 2021. Accordingly, I gradually developed my business by starting Camping on the land I got while doing my studies in the campus. What you see is my attempt. Even though the national program of providing investment opportunities in government lands implemented by the government in 2020 to encourage young entrepreneurs is being implemented throughout the island, I have come to know that there are only two projects that are being implemented in the island, and I consider it a privilege to be one of them in the Divisinal Secretariat Passara
My hope is to become a good entrepreneur and uplift the tourism industry in Sri Lanka by providing job opportunities to the unemployed. I would like to express my thanks to the staff, including the Divisional Secretariat Passara, who have done a great job in implementing a national program by providing suitable government land for the business.
