Huluganga Falls is a waterfall located at Huluganga Town, about 30 kilometers away from Kandy Town in on the way of Bambarella, in Kandy District in Sri Lanka. Hulu River is originating from the Knuckles Mountain Range. Huluganga Falls is about 75 meters in height.
This is one of the waterfalls found on the way from Wattegama Panvila in Kandy to Bambarella - Knuckles. This road runs through beautiful tea estates and steep slopes with 06 major waterfalls and numerous smaller waterfalls. Huluganga Falls, Rahas Falls, Thaliya Fallen Falls, Jodu Falls, Saree Ella, Kabara Falls are some of them.

Galle Fort is the most beautiful coastal town in Sri Lanka. Galle Lighthouse is a prominent tourist attraction of Galle. Situated on the shores of Galle, the lighthouse makes a postcard-perfect scenario against the emerald waves hitting the fine beige sands of Galle.

Narangala mountain is another popular mountain among climbers. It is situated 19.7 km away from the Badulla district in the Uva Province. Narangala Mountain is very popular among the climbers and it rises to over 1500 m (1527 m). There are two entrances to Narangala mountain, Keenakale side and Tangamale Devalaya side. The Keenakale side is generally very popular with climbers.

St Clair’s is one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka and called the “Little Niagara of Sri Lanka”. It is a strikingly beautiful waterfall, which is approximately 80 meters in height and 50 meters in width. This waterfall runs over a rock ridge, splitting into three cascades, and drops into a pool. This beautiful falls are situated close to the town of Talawakele on the Hatton-Talawakele Highway in Nuwara Eliya District.

Lipton’s Seat is perhaps the most popular attraction in Haputale. Situated an hour away from Haputale town, Lipton’s Seat is a viewpoint named after the celebrated Thomas Lipton. He was a Scottish businessman who moved to British Ceylon in 1890, where he met James Taylor and together they introduced tea gardens to the country. Prior to Lipton’s arrival, Taylor had attempted to grow coffee on the island, however, the coffee plantations were devastated by a leaf-blight. With Lipton’s help, the two men embarked on a business venture which would outlive their lifetimes.

The best thing I gained from a trip to Sri Lanka was the restored faith in my fellow humans.
