Sri Lanka Tour Pro Story,
From the meager beginning in the year 2017 of being just a taxi driver for Uber and Pickme app based taxi companies, Sidd thrived around the clock to better his services and knowledge everyday. With his uncle Namal’s guidance an experienced tour guide and driver he ventured in to completing a tour driver’s course held by the National Tourist Driver’s Association a driver’s governing body under the wings of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority and became a licensed and a registered Tour Driver.
From this point on wards slowly but steadily learning as he went learned the ABC’s of tourism in Sri Lanka making vital contacts with some of the top tour companies and tour operators and finally achieving his dream of being independent, established his own tour operating company with a team of dedicated well trained and experienced personnel.
Sidd’s educational background prior to taking up tourism, of having a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Deakin Unversity, Melbourne Australia, and Australian College of Business and Technology, Sri Lanka along with another (Jyothish Bhaskar)bachelor of astrology and a (Jyothish Bhhoshana)master of astrology awarded by the Vidyaloka Jyothirvidya Pitah headed by Dr. G. M. Gunapala under the supervision of Asian Astrologer’s Congress surely helped Sidd to throttle him self to a speedy start.
Needless to mention the wealth of professional experience working for multinational companies such as Standard Charted Bank, Sri Lanka, as a Sales Executive; Kuwait Airways corporation as a cabin crew steward, FedEx Express as the head of Advertising and Media, Sri Lanka; Jynx Advertising & Media, Kuwait as the Manager, Business Development; Manager, Business Development for Q8Realtor and Q8Relocations; Manager, Business Development, Frontallobe Innovations, Sri Lanka; Manager, Business Development for J&J Emigration & Consultancy Services, Sri Lanka also helped Sidd to skim through the red tape of the industry straight to becoming a success story.
