MAHESH CORPORATION PIRITH BUDDHIST CHANTING CEREMONY
Mahesh Corporation, the parent company of Pledge Holidays, recently held an all-night pirith, a chanting ceremony by Buddhist monks that brings safety, peace and well-being to the community.
Staff and their families from across the group, which also includes the Pledge3 and Hush Lagoon 30 boutique hotels in Negombo, attended the ceremony at Mahesh Corporation vehicle sale-room in Kochchikade.
During the ceremony, Mahesh Corporation chairman Mahesh Fernando received a blessing from the Venerable Uduwe Dhammaloka Thera, and presented the monk with a sacred offering for his temple.
