Cinnamon Air is owned and operated by Saffron Aviation (Pvt) Limited, a joint venture between John Keells Holdings PLC, MMBL Leisure Holdings and Phoenix Ventures Ltd. The company has an Air Operator’s Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL), to operate as a domestic airline offering scheduled and charter services and commenced operations in July 2013 with full oper

ations from January 2014. Filling the need for a fast and efficient air taxi service that operates domestic flights in Sri Lanka, Cinnamon Air offers a convenient link from the island’s main Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) to some of the most exotic locations in the country. The pristine East Coast, the picturesque South West coast, the natural beauty of Hambantota / Yala, the Cultural Triangle which is steeped in history and the country’s hill capital Kandy, are all just a short flight away.
