Gombaniya - ගොම්බානිය
📌Gombaniya is the highest mountain in Knuckles Forest Reserve(1906m).
📌Located on the western side of the Knuckles Range and belongs to the Kandy District.
📌Trail starting from Rathnathenna Villege.
📌Hike duration - 4-5 hours to climb.
📌Better for camping.
📌Leach attacks can be expect.
📌There are limited water sources throughout the trail on wet season.
📌There is a wind collar called YAKUNGE HELA. Hence mountain summits are constantly windy.
