Ecotourism is a trending experience across the world. Here in Liberia, Enjoy Liberia paid a visit to the infamous Kpatawee Waterfalls lodged within the dense forest canopy of Suakoko B**g county. Our purpose there was to not only the guide Foreign tourists who were on tour in Liberia but to visit Aunt Josephine, the hardworking CEO and visionary at Kpatawee. Along with her team predominantly composed of locals, true Liberian hospitality was on display at its best.
There was hot meals on the menu as well as cold drinks with prices almost the same as that in Monrovia. The view of the majestic waterfalls crashing on to the rocks and cascading into a gentle stream personifies the spirit of Kpatawee as a Holiday destination.
While enjoying our stay we observed the entire facility is powered by nature and built using only local materials with little or no pollution, fresh air and ideal for a family, group visit or romantic getaway.
Whatever your stress levels are this december, a visit to the serene environment at Kpatawee will surely lift your Spirits. Its only $5.00 for entry with a rule that you do not take food or drinks. Unless its a preplanned arrangement.

5. Liberia produced the first Female Head of State - Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
6. It took the United States of America fifteen (15) years to recognize Liberia's Independence on September 23, 1862.
7. It is recorded in history that during the 1950s Liberia managed to have had the world's second economic growth.
8. Liberia holds the Guinness World Record for the most fraudulent election ever reported in history, the 1927 election. During the 1927 general elections in Liberia, Charles DB King beat his opponent Thomas Faulkner to the presidency, receiving 243,000 votes compared Faulkner’s 9,000, despite there being less than 15,000 registered voters in the country.
9. Liberia has only one major airport - The Robert International Airport in Margibi County.
10. Liberia was founded in 1821 by a philanthropic institution, The American Colonization Society, from the United States of America.
11. Liberia is a home to Africa's greatest soccer player - George Oppong Manneh Weah; the only African to have won the Ballon D'or in 1995.
12. Liberia is Africa's largest producer of natural rubber.
13. English is the official language spoken in Liberia.
