Welcome to Lesotho (leh-soo-too)!! 🇱🇸

This is the highest country in Africa, with over 80% of its land above 1800m/5,906ft. Even the lowest point is high, at 1,400m/4593ft! 🏔️

This largely alpine country is completely surrounded by South Africa, making it one of three countries that are landlocked within another country. The other two are San Marino & Vatican City, both located within Italy. 🍕

The Basotho people here seemingly ride everywhere on horseback wearing multicoloured blankets and cool hats. They eagerly greet us with enthusiastic waves, and a big “dumela!” (hello). We love this place! 🐎👋😍

They've trimmed the trees that were overshadowing Maseru Avani, and let me tell you, the view now is absolutely breathtaking! 😍 Maseru is truly becoming a town you just want to soak in. 🏞️
