Luxembourg City Tourist Office Easter Safari!!

Very nice tour through the city, looking for lions, horses, a fox, a monkey, a unicorn and a lot of easter eggs & Péckvillecher 🐤🐰
Looking forward to discover the new Péckvillecher (Little earthenware whistles, shaped like birds) at the Eemaischen next Monday! Traditionally they were exchanged between lovers, but today everybody, even kids, love them!
Me too, even if the sound could be annoying when kids are whistling into your ear at 6am in the morning🙈

Sunday is Bretzel day 🥳🥨😍

Männer sidd dir prett?

The 27th of March is …..
« Bretzel-Sonndeg » 🥳
According to the tradition, men have to offer a Bretzel 🥨(the best one and the biggest one of course😅) to the woman they are in love with!
If the woman shares the same feelings, the man will get an egg 🥚 🍫 on Easter day, and if not he will get an empty basket 🧺🙈 which explains the luxembourgish expression « ech ginn him de Kuerf »
(I gave him the basket = I broke up with him)

So to all the men out there: go and find the most beautiful and delicious Bretzel for your sweetheart😍
