Tell me culture project

Tell me culture project "Tell me culture" is a Nordplus project (NPHZ-2024/10158). It aims to bring to light less known places and their cultural heritage and stories.

The collection consists of important cultural places in 4 countries: Latvia, Sweden, Finland and Estonia. Project partners:

The song and dance festival is a big thing in both-Estonia and Latvia, however in Estonia it was first held few years earlier than in its neighbour country. We are happy to share the national passion for singing and dancing for more than 150 years already.

From 10-11th June “Tell me culture” partners met in Valmiera Valodu Mape to overview how far we have come in the project and what is expecting us.🇱🇻

We have:
- finished the guidebook and the translations in all partner languages,
- chosen 5 locations in our regions to build the storytelling activities on;
- tested an interactive game that lets to explore history in a fun way while being physically active.

Our adventurous team is ready for new adventures discovering for you hidden gems in Estonia, Sweden, Finland and Latvia.👏🏻

Next time we are meeting together in Sweden in a year where student training activities will take place, but meanwhile- stay tuned as some free local tours are coming up this year. 🌍

“Tell me culture” project has released their first result-the research about native language acquisition, motivating practices and main obstacles in culture context. This has already been an adventure to discover critical milestones to build our next tasks on. We are mesmerized by such an interest among all ages groups in this topic and taking part in the survey.
We appreciate deeply each participants opinion that allows us to build stronger community and understanding about local values.
