💡 Tuesday tip 💡

📸 One of the best purchases I think you can make at Disney is Memory Maker! Unless you’re making a quick 1-2 day visit, you could easily find yourself with 100+ pictures if you take advantage of the different PhotoPass spots at each of the parks and even a location in Disney Springs! Purchased before you arrive will save you a little as well.

📸 To find photographers, go to the MDE App go to the park map. You can then switch the drop down to "PhotoPass." This will show you where all available photographers can be found. The icon with the cell phone indicates the PhotoPass Lenses which are available in the MDE app as well if you purchased Genie+!

📸 They will scan your MagicBand, key card, or MagicMobile on your phone and then you can pose for your photo! Each photographer may have a different "Magic Shot" to add something special to your photo - so don't be afraid to ask!

💰 Here’s a simple money saving tip. Will it make you rich? No, but with just a simple snap you can easily earn gifts cards to help save on your Disney trip or or really almost anything! I usually redeem for Starbucks or Amazon cards but Disney gift cards were just added too!

🧾 Fetch Rewards which is a rewards program that allows you to earn points by taking pictures of receipts. It can be any receipt! Go to the grocery store, save your receipt. Buy gas, save your receipt. Go to Chick-fil-A, save your receipt.

📸 Snap a picture using the app that shows the date, store and total and normally each receipt earns 25 points (sometimes more with bonuses). You can link your Amazon and email for e-receipts to be counted too! In most cases 1k points is worth $1, sometimes a little less.

🛍️ You also have the option to shop from their app or website to earn points on dollars spent at some of your favorite stores. There’s even ways to earn points by playing games.

🐘 Tusker House has a character meal that did not feel like a one-and-done experience! In Africa over in Animal Kingdom, Tusker House offers a bountiful buffet with African-inspired flavors and visits from Donald Duck and friends.

🦓 While we enjoyed the lunch/dinner option, breakfast is also offered as a character meal for slightly less per person. The desserts were almost too cute to eat…almost 😊

🐊 Characters visited the tables for pictures and autographs as we indulged including Daisy, Donald, Mickey and Goofy dressed in their African safari attire.

❤️ Friday Favorites ❤️

I put Port Orleans French Quarter resort at the top of my favorite resorts list for a couple of reasons. One of those is the Mickey-shaped Beignets available at S**t Cat’s Club - Café and Lounge.

I didn’t understand the hype until I indulged myself! Who knew fried dough and powdered sugar shaped as Mickey could be so enticing. I can still smell the pictures today! 🤤

They’re perfect in the morning with a fresh cup of coffee, as an afternoon dessert or a late-night snack. They can be “boozy” for an adult treat or made into a sundae. Enjoy them in your room, in the lobby, by the pool or take them down by the water. You can’t go wrong!

While these are great plain, don’t sleep on the dipping sauces! Try strawberry and chocolate together or, my favorite, chocolate and caramel 😋 I’d have more pictures but they were always gone too fast!
