This exclusive bathing session will occur from 7:00 am - 9:00 am at Metung Hot Springs throughout our bathing ridge and hilltop escarpment.

After soaking up the sunrise at Metung Hot Springs, enjoy a nourishing breakfast at Metung Country Club from 9:00 - 10:30 am.

Your delicious breakfast is a set menu and will include:

*House made granola with Gippsland dairy yoghurt
*Quinoa Salad, our signature creation featuring Salsa Verde-infused quinoa, crispy locally smoked bacon, creamy avocado, soft-boiled egg and blistered vine-ripened tomatoes.

We're back with fun fact Friday! And the first fun fact we're sharing is answering the question: how deep are the Gippsland Lakes?

The Lakes are generally shallow; much of Lake Wellington is less than 4m and much of Lake King less than 6m. Lake Victoria occupies a long narrow furrow up to 10 m deep. The deepest point in the Gippsland Lakes is approximately 15m near Shaving Point, Metung.

Dare to plunge into the icy waters and feel the rush? Dive into the magic of the Winter Solstice Sunrise Swim this Saturday 22 June!

This exhilarating yearly ritual, hosted by Gippsland Jersey, promises an unforgettable experience that invigorates both body and mind. By facing your fears and taking part in this event, you’ll gain a sense of resilience and come away feeling refreshed and invigorated.

Gather at 6:45am at the Slipway in Lakes Entrance and prepare for the chilly lake plunge with a guided 15-minute breathwork session by Serenity Breathwork & The East Gippsland Cold Plunge Crew and learn about the benefits of cold water immersion from special guest Tom from Koho Sauna.

At sunrise, we’ll head out out on the Coast Guard jetty and take the plunge! To top it all off, enjoy a FREE COFFEE after your dip at our Gippsland Jersey Slipway Shack.

This is a FREE event, but registration is required. Don’t miss out on this thrilling adventure!
