It’s a sure thing. You’re thinking about booking a flight and you see the price is $500. Ok, It seems a little high, but you’re thinking maybe the price will drop. 2 weeks later the price is at $530 and you’re thinking, maybe the price will go down. Another month goes by, and the price is now $620, and deep down you feel the airline will lower the price.
Nope! The airline is not going to lower the price of your ticket.
Nope! You should not wait to see if prices go down.
Yes! you should buy the ticket today.
Just this week, I've received 3 trip inquiries, and the prices were a bit higher than they wanted to pay.
In 2 instances, the clients said “Ok I’ll just wait to see if the prices go down, and then we'll book.” The other inquiry said they would check with the group and get back to me.
Now, there are times that tickets do go down in price. Sure, maybe an airline will run a sale and then you'll get a slight discount. Most of the time, this isn’t the case. (Trust me, it's happened to me 😫)
In almost every other case you’re not going to see any savings and end up paying way more for the same flight you looked at weeks ago.
Here’s the best advice I can give you and that I give to my clients. If you’re good with the price at the moment, BOOK IT! If you’re not happy with the price and you would be even unhappier If the price went up, BOOK IT!
What do you think? DO YOU WAIT? OR DO YOU BUY?

First time using your passport?
Here's a few practical tips that'll help:
#1 - HAVE PATIENCE & UNDERSTANDING
Missed your connecting flight? No problem get on the next one! ATM not working? It's all good.....go a little further away (maybe next city) and find another one! Remember, the best memories are made when things don't go as planned 😉
#2 - BRING EXTRA CASH (OR CARDS)
You never know when one of your cards won't work or if a store is cash only. Bring an emergency stash of cash so you won't skip a beat on vacation.
#3 - PACK WASHCLOTHS
I know...I know! But trust me..... you'd be surprised to find out that most European hotels do not provide small washcloths that Americans are accustomed to!
#4 - LEARN THE LANGUAGE
No you don't have to sign up for Rosetta Stone LOL but learning a few simple phrases will go a long way. Words like "Hello" "Goodbye" "Please" "Thank You" are the minimum. But don't forget important phrases like "Where is the toilet" and "Would you like me to take your picture" or "Can you take my picture" 📸
The REAL reason Italy is my favorite country to visit! 🇮🇹
From Rome to Milan to Naples to Verona to Venice and everywhere in between..... you CANNOT go wrong.
I'm literally drooling at this video right now 🤤
And funny truth.... my actual favorite dish is a simple cacio e pepe which is basically a minimalist mac n cheese 🤣
What's your favorite Italian dish?
