Spilling the tea on why Beach Club IS NOT my favorite Deluxe resort… 🤫🤐🙅‍♀️

Disney’s Beach Club Resort IS beautiful, clean, updated and walking distance to Epcot. Not to mention has the BEST pool on property with Stormalong Bay. But I will never stay there again. Read on to find why. ⬇️

The resort is SMALL, it has very few elevators and our walk to the lobby or pool when we waited for these tiny and select elevators would be 12-15 minutes. ⏰

We went in December and stayed there so although the pool was awesome and heated, the air was cold so we all didn’t have much desire to swim. 💨

Pros to this resort:
🌊 Beaches and Cream ice cream shop and food was good!
🌊 Cape May Cafe was an excellent character breakfast with a buffet and omelette station
🌊There is a quiet pool
🌊 Arcade on property
🌊 Attached to Yacht Club
🌊 Ferry boats and walking trails, as well as the boardwalk to walk to more resorts, places to eat and other resorts

But truly after staying at other Deluxes now on the monorail line, I just wonder what the appeal of this resort is when it’s close to the prices of those? I’ll take Grand Floridian or Poly over this one any day of the week.

Nothing can stop me from telling you that Hollywood Studios is the ONE park NEVER to be skipped on your Disney trip. 🤫🤪🎥

This park has something for everyone and all ages! There hasn’t been ONE trip I’ve been on and not been to this park, yet truthfully I’ve skipped Epcot and Animal Kingdom many times…

Sorry not sorry but it is Myla’s and one of our family’s favorites! 😍

Universal had SO many characters and we all know I’m a character type of gal! 😁

These meet and greets made my girls at home so HAPPY and their mama too. The characters were great and even let me make small recordings for them.

I think both of them request these videos almost daily still since my trip.

Staying onsite at a Disney property Deluxe level resorts has its perks… and THIS moment was one of them.🌙

When you stay on property at a Deluxe level resort your stay includes:
💫Extended Park Hours on select nights with a valid park admission (aka the park is CLOSED for all other guests but Deluxe)
💫Early entry to ALL Disney parks
💫Transportation and Walking Paths
💫Club Level Lounges and Cabana Rentals

I purposely planned our trip to take advantage of this and my husband thought I was nuts. But in the end he enjoyed it just as much and as a whole…

We LOVED it and truly took advantage of this perk! From strolling the park peacefully, cooler weather temps, WALK ON rides and attractions, and all the stores still opened, there was something so magical about seeing the Magic Kingdom so empty. 🏰

I can’t believe it’s all ready been a week since my first FAM Universal trip… and I am missing it so much!🥹

I absolutely LOVED experiencing Universal Studios. They have so much to offer for all ages and can’t wait to go back with my own kiddos. From the rides, to the characters, resorts and overall convenience it’s just incredible. 🌎🪄🦉🎢

Adventure awaits…🦉✉️🪄

Tomorrow I head to Universal Studios on my first Universal hosted FAM trip! 🌎

This trip includes so many exciting elements that I can’t wait to explore from resort tours, education, the theme parks, and special dinners/events! 🎟️ 🏨🎢 ✍️🍽️

Make sure to follow along it’s almost time to head to Hogwarts and find Platform 9 3/4. 🦉🧳🚂⚡️
(We’ve really crunched in the HP movies the last 2 days in preparation!)

Loved starting our past trip off in Epcot to go meet up with some of our favorite characters! 😍

There are SO many to meet there all day long, but most stop greeting around 5 or 6. So make sure to plan your day around them if it’s a priority for your littles. Exact times for some like Asha, Anna and Elsa can be found in the My Disney Experience app!📲

We love always visiting with Princess Tiana and we’re all so excited to try this ride in a few weeks. You can join the Virtual Queue at 7 am or 1 pm in the parks!

Guess which DELUXE resort we had stayed at last summer and LOVED?!😍

Another thing I’m so excited for is the return of normal meet and greets during Disney dining experiences like this one! 🍽 Myla was so obsessed with eating with the characters we came back to Jersey and every time we were out she searched for Minnie or Mickey. My all time favorite CORE Disney memory. And confession: as a teacher I use this specific moment to write a personal narrative on as the first time Myla met Minnie Mouse. 😍 This moment is burned into my skull and being all together.
