Mountain Lovers and / or Cairn Ridge Friends: Just wanted to update you to let you know that our house is available again now after a four-month hiatus due to a frozen pipe, a flood and the subsequent repairs. But, we've now got two new bedrooms and cushy, new carpet downstairs! The second week of August is available for rent. Last year around that time, the milkweed was bountiful and Monarchs were stopping over on their migration south. Wild huckleberries are also ripe for the picking on top of the ridge; these are perfect additions to muffin or pancake batter.
