Ed was our real life Carl Fredricksen: a veneer of grouch over an incredibly loving and kind human being. Russell, Dug, and all of us at Pixar will miss him terribly. Ed loved voicing Carl, and our time working with him will remain some our most beloved memories. His adventure was ours for a moment in time.

Disney Uncharted Adventure is a first-of-its-kind interactive experience that will lead Guests aboard the Disney Wish on a journey from bow to stern and beyond the stars.

This fantastical journey will be a brand-new way to explore and experience the enchantment of a Disney cruise ship that uses innovative technology like augmented reality and physical effects. Disney Uncharted Adventure will take classic Disney storytelling into an all-new realm of immersive family fun as Guests embark on a multidimensional voyage into the worlds of Moana, Tiana, Peter Pan, Nemo and more.

Guests will be able to unlock Disney Uncharted Adventure on the Play Disney Parks app, which transforms Guests’ mobile device into an enchanted spyglass - a tool that allows them to set sail for adventure, solve puzzles, conquer quests, and ultimately save the day.

This one-of-a-kind experience will be coming to the Disney Wish in summer 2022.

There is a new and exciting service coming soon to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort... Disney Genie!

Disney Genie is a free service that will be built right into your My Disney Experience app. It will include a personalized itinerary feature that can map out an entire day for you based on your preferences and current wait times.

Disney Genie+ service will also be available to purchase. With Disney Genie+, guests will be able to choose the next available time to arrive at a variety of attractions and experiences using the new Lightning Lane entrance at attractions such as Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. There are over 40 attractions included in Walt Disney World and over 15 included at Disneyland. Disney Genie+ will also include immersive audio experiences, augmented reality lenses for photos at WDW. Disney Genie+ will be available for purchase for $15 per ticket per day at Walt Disney World and $20 per ticket per day at Disneyland.

Guests will also be able to purchase up to 2 selections per day to highly demanded attractions using the Lightning Lane entrance. These will include attractions such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom and Radiator Springs Racers at California Adventure. These attractions are not included with Disney Genie+. Pricing will vary by date, attraction, and park.

We don't have an exact date yet, but it will be coming to the parks sometime this fall. I will be learning even more information about Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ in the coming days and weeks and I will be sure to pass along any new information! Disney Very Merriest After Hours

Twinkling lights, festive decor, and magical celebrations will fill Magic Kingdom Park when “Disney Very Merriest After Hours” begins! This event will take place on 24 select nights from November 8th through December 21st from 9pm to 1am. The event will include the nighttime spectacular, “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” and “Once Upon a Christmastime Parade,” a special holiday-themed parade.

Event dates are:
November: 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 28, 30
December: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21

Ticket holders will be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7pm and will be able to experience Holiday attraction overlays such as The Jingle Cruise and new jokes for Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor, less time waiting in line for their favorite attractions, Disney characters dressed in their holiday best, snowfall on Main Street, speciality holiday food & drinks, and much, much more!

Tickets go on sale 8/17 for guests of Disney Resort hotels, Swan & Dolphin Hotels, & Shades of Green… and 8/20 for everyone else. Ticket prices will range from $169 to $229 plus tax ($249 on 12/19 & 12/21). Contact me for more details!

A new Halloween-themed Disney After Hours event will be coming this fall to Magic Kingdom! "Disney After Hours BOO BASH" will take place on select nights, August 10th - October 31st from 9pm - midnight or 9:30-12:30.

Spooky festivities will include Halloween-themed cavalcades, character sightings throughout the park, special performances by the Cadaver Dans, decor, lighting, music, treat stops with plenty of candy and much more!
